Question:

I would like a electrical wiring diagram for a ceiling fan with inbuilt light to replace my excisting light?

I would like a electrical wiring diagram for a ceiling fan with a built in light to replace my existing ceiling light. thank you.

Answer:

what the first 2 said, plus the fan/light usually comes with a wiring diagram in the box
White to whiteblack-blue-black together and ground(green) to ground. That's all there is to it!
Here okorder
Connect the black from the light to all the blacks in the ceiling. connect the white from the light to all the whites in the ceiling. Connect the black wire and the white wire to a standard switch at the wall. that should work. But I strongly suggest getting a volt meter before going much further because not every electrician does thing the same way especially if your house has age to it. Volt meters are far cheaper than hospital bills and house fires.
Yes, all 3 are correct. But make sure the electrical box is strong enough to hold a ceiling fan- They weigh quite a bit more than a standard light fixture. In the fan you'll probably see the following that you'll need to hook up: a bare (or green) ground wire, a white wire, a black wire, and either a blue or red wire. Attach the white wires together, then the ground wires together (the ground wires may attach to a screw inside the electrical box). Now connect the black wire from the electrical box to the black and blue (or red) wires. That's pretty much it!
