Question:

if earth stops rotating then will it lose its magnetic field.if no then why?

what‘s reason for earth having its magnetic field

Answer:

When charged ions move they generate a magnetic field. In the earth's core there are metals in molten states so that there are ions that are in constant motion (atoms are in ionic forms in metals and therefore metals can conduct electricity).when these ions move in the earth's core they generate the earth's magnetic field! if the earth stops rotating and the movement of the molten core stops rotating as a result then yes the earth will lose its magnetic field. and no, the loss of the magnetic field will not result in loss of gravity!!!! they are not interlinked!
The hot molten metal in the outter core is spinning. This spinning hot metal creates the magnetic field. If stopped spinning on it's own or due the Earth ceasing to spin it would no longer create the magnet field. Gravity would still work as it is only a function of mass and distance. The moon still has gravity but has no magnetic field because it has no molten core.
