If I cleaned a couple of catfish and just stuck on a plate in the freezer, how long would they last?
Not really sure that this belongs in the fish section unless you caught your pet catfish and ate them (it's been done)Anyhow, I think the recommended guidelines are that you don't keep fish frozen for more than two monthsI'm sure you could get away with longer than that, but you risk getting a little freezer burntEdit: Also, you want to make sure you have the fish in a sealed containerUse a freezer bag or tupperware or at least cover the plate with saran wrap and/or aluminum foil.
