I would like to install an aftermarket radio in my 2004 chevy impala, actually my dad will probably install it since he sa lot more experience with automotive stuff. i have been doing some looking at other questions posted on here and some talk about how the gauges will be messed up if i remove the stock radio. will this still happen if i get the wiring harness, or does the harness solve this problem. If I were to take it and have it installed at a store would this not be a problem?
the gauges are not connected to the radio, the door chime might b. if it has one of the steering wheel volume controls that will b useless
