Like do they sense human? Or like heat? But… what if I throw a chair at it? Would it open?!??But what if I paint myself invisible and carry a chair through. Would it sense us, or just the chair?
They sense motion. So painting yourself any color, or no color would make absolutely no difference. AND: automatic doors are usually based on pressure pads so the door would still open They were based on pressure pads....25 years ago. Now if you look they have a motion sensor at the top that looks just like a burglar alarm sensor.
The door senses motion or mass that's in motion. Small animals won't set it off, but some large dogs have been known to get into grocery stores. Being invisible won't effect it. Funny thing, my son couldn't be sensed by these doors til he was 13 years old! He hated it. Had to wait for someone else to go through first. Everyone in town got to know him by this!
If somebody has limited use of their palms and better physique, they could no longer be waiting to do it in any respect with out advice from different human beings or contraptions put in on the door itself. yet whilst they're utilising a motorized chair, they may well be waiting to diminish back as much as a door and push it open with the chair. Or, if a knob desires turning they may well be waiting to get close adequate to show the knob at the same time as advancing the chair in the process the door. All of this is extremely, very perplexing of direction, so in places that have not have been given federally or state mandated get admission to for the disabled, human beings could place self assurance in different human beings to help them.
To answer your que's: If I paint myself invisible, would an automatic door open for me? Yes, but you must touch it. Like do they sense human? Or like heat? They sense human, otherwise robots and animals could come in!! But… what if I throw a chair at it? Would it open?!? Nope, because it's not human, silly.. But what if I paint myself invisible and carry a chair through. Would it sense us, or just the chair? It will sense you, and will allow whatever else your holding to come in with you!;)
automatic door's use infrared light, microwave light or a pressure sensor. if it is an infrared one it will still sense you because you would only be invisible to visible light (it would sense the heat) but the chair might not get sensed because it may be the same temperature as everything else, the microwave one would sense both and pressure is sensed by weight
