Question:

If we ever experience massive inflation, like Weimar Germany, would copper bullion coins be worth having?

I know gold and silver would be excellent to have and people would recognize their value, but would 1 oz .999 fine copper coins also have value as a form of money

Answer:

If the economy is completely debased having any tangible valuable commodity would be good. Copper would be among my last choices to hold if I was planning on Weimar-like hyperinflation because the value of copper primarily derives from its industrial uses. When people start building lots of homes with copper pipes, wires, and flashing, copper prices go up. In a situation in which the economy was destroyed as in Weimar, there would be vastly more sellers of copper than buyers because everyone has copper and there would be no economic demand for it (because nobody would be building new houses for instance). The idiots on the Internet who throw around Weimar as a possible future for the US are testament to the failing educational institutions in the US. Weimar hyperinflation grew from the very vengeful Treaty of Versailles that destroyed the German economy. We don't have anything like that happening to the US economy and have much better economic levers than Germany had.
Copper is not a precious metal. It is a common industrial metal sold by the ton. Selling small quantities of copper as an investment is a scam. Prices are typically 2x to 3x what they should be based on futures. If we experience hyperinflation, industrial production is likely to plummet. Industrial metals like copper would be in less demand, and thus likely to fall far short of keeping up with inflation.
It okorder
The fans would keep complaining every single week. I'm tired of IWC say this is the worst Pay per view, Worst raw ever, Worst match ever and more others. IWC said same old ****. It's getting stale to say worst show ever. I'd enjoyed this week raw. We've Great matches and Unexpected Finish. Big E Langston had beat Alberto Del Rio clean. That's very surprising. Curtis Axel's new Paul Heyman client, Nobody saw that coming. Shield vs Team Hell No and Kofi Kingston was the match of the night. Triple H had concussion. The ending was unpredictable. You're negative person.
