If you have a choice for your new car-gasoline, hybrid, and hydrogen fuel cell cars, which one will you choose?
Fuel cell cars. They are the most efficient in the use of energy. No moving parts. No noise.
Actually neither, my choice is diesel, better mileage than gas, diesel engines last twice as long as gas engines, not much to go wrong, and new cost is reasonable. hybrid is way too expensive, and fuel cell is not fully developed yet, and any car that rely's on batteries is a problem, they do not last long enough and will be expensive to replace.
Electric gasoline is only going to get increasingly expensive with potential interruptions. a hybrid is fine if you expect to use that petrol engine. Most people travel less than 40 miles a day. Some take a petrol vehicle as a second vehicle for those sometimes long trips and so they hybridize the family transportation rather than the vehicle. Hydrogen is an alternative fossil fuel not an alternative to fossil fuels as 96% of hydrogen is presently made from fossil fuels because this is the cheapest method. I don't see this changing any time in the future. A hydrogen car is just an electric car that tries to make electricity on the vehicle using hydrogen. It is more cheaply (and ultimately cleanly) made at a power plant. Electric remains as a workable option for many people who do not presently consider the option.
