Fill the holes with body filler and apply a new layer of glass. Polyester fiberglass resin will melt styrofoamepoxy resin will not. Epoxy resin is about 4-5 times stronger than polyester resin. The wieght is about the same for both..so why not do the filling and use Epoxy resin for the final coatsEpoxy is a very strong resin, nasty to work with, but it doesn't stick like polyester, and it doesn't burn your hands so badly if you get it on them.
