ihomee alarm clock problems hellpp mee ?

okay so i just got a new ihome dock for my ipod a little simple one has no radio or anything on it, but i wanna use it for an alarm. but when i set the alarm and my ipod is on the dock it does not go off. ? it goes back to charging. can anyone tell me how to make it wake me up with music? it has done it before but i dont know how i did it. and its really frusterating me. do you get ittt ?

The 'Lighting Rod' shifters were mainly for show. You can simply use the far-left shifter just like any conventional automatic- Park, Reverse, Neutral, O/D (4th), Drive (3rd). You can ignore the other two shifters in normal driving. Back in '83, when Car Driver and Motor Trend published reviews of the H/O, they achieved better 0-60mph and faster 1/4mile times just leaving it Drive and letting it shift on its own..
