Comfortable as a sofa; however, very uncomfortable to use as a bed. I found the 1/3 hard board very challenging. Even after trying a feather bed and memory foam, I still felt like the princess and the pea.
Don't buy any beds from ikea. I bought one and it keeps breaking. Halfway threw the night the bars will fall threw so half my bed is on the floor and half is kinda still in the frame. Pay a little more money and find a good quality bed from a different store. Or you'll have to in the end anyway.
