Im going to use this to mineralize the soil for my planted aquarium. Some people say don‘t get Ultra Reef from garden because it is not the same, so where i can find this item ?
It's dolomite, high in magnesium, and much less soluble than typical calcium rich aragonite, marble, calcite, or limestones. Something high in calcium would mineralize the soil more but you don't want to overdo it and dolomite would be more gradual. If the bag looks the same and it has the Estes brand name, it would not matter whether you got it at a local petshop, a chain store like Petco, or Walmart. The only concern would be to rinse off the bag if you got it from a garden store where fertilizers and weed killers might get on the bag.
