At my highschool we have to do a senior project. we can research any topic we choose we just have to be able to prove something-a thesis statement. i want to do something with chemistry but i can‘t find anything. i like working in the lab so i want to do something that i can conduct experiments with. please let me know if you have any ideas

Have you ever heared about Electrolysis/Electroplating. Why don't you prepare this Project. It is very easy and versatile. You require a battery(dry cells), some metal salts(Copper Sulpahte(CuSo4) or Silver Choride/Sulphate), A Copper/Silver bar, Item which you want to electroplate(Jewlery etc) and wires . You can produce a demo for electroplating of metals.
Conventional solder will not fuse to aluminum. Your best bet is to use a mechanical fastener.
