Don't bother replacing it nutted axles are used on department store grade bikes. Lawyers Lips are used on the front forks not the rear. Just buy another threaded axle and replace it.
I prefer the quick release. You don't have to carry a wrench in case you get a flat.
Actually, smithing bars is just about the only way to make money while training smithing. Back before the GE, there were companies on the forums that would pay folks to smith steel bars at a fixed price per bar, and they would even provide materals. I believe that members can make smithing cash in other ways, like smithing cannon balls. I'm not familiar with current prices, but you will make some profit, though probably not as much as the classic money-making ways such as fighting cows or hill giants, chopping yews, or running rune ess. Just look at prices in the GE. Classic prices were like: coal (x2) - 175ea iron (x1) - 100ea total materials per bar - 450gp Sell bars for 550gp (about 100gp profit each). I'll update these if I get on a PC where I can check the GE prices. EDIT -- based on the prices posted by the guys below me, looks like you get 150gp profit per bar these days. That's about 1500gp per trip to the furnace (9 bars), not bad. Rich people training smithing don't want to waste time making bars, so they pay well for the service. General rule is the more xp you get, the less money you get (or the more money you lose).
Try an affect wrench. Or put your ratchet on the nut and hit it hard and fast a few times with a rubber mallet. It should come unfastened. But to be honest torching it is your exceptional approach First your going to need to wipe it down beautiful good or that wd40 will ignite. However simply heat it up with a torch than whip the wrench on there and it must come off. If that doesn't work you could have issues. No longer looking to say your silly however just make sure your turning it counterclockwise. And ensure the nut isnt welded to the swaybar. Had that happen to me as soon as
Decide for yourself! Look at the source! Prices change very often, but the last time i did this(I JUST checked) It was 177 x 2 coal price and 100 for each iron ore. steel bars come up to 634 right now. thats a 108 gp increase per bar. This is at the medium prices.
