Answer:

As indicated by other posters, there are two primary reasons why the landlord does not want a system installed without permission: drilling holes is a no-no, and they need access to your apartment. Wireless sensors will solve the first problem, but the not the second. You may need to provide the landlord with a separate access code - but any system worth its salt will allow to you do that. One reason lots of renters like the FrontPoint system is that it can also notify you by text or email any time a door opens, or the system is disarmed. You would actually know any time they have been in your unit. You could even go the next step (which some of our customers do) and get one of our cameras, to see who it was that entered. You can even arm and disarm these systems remotely - very cool. Be careful to make sure you get a cellular system - any other system allows an intruder to cut the phone line, and then you have nothing except an expensive noisemaker. And lastly, the DIY systems you can get today are remarkable - full programmed, and can be set up in about 30 minutes. This is important if you want the freedom to move and take the system with you, especially the kind of next-generation system described above.
It depends. It could just blow your computer modem or it could fry your entire electrical system. It can even cause a massive fire. It all depends on where it strikes in relation to your house.
The answer is no. The curing agent for polyester resin is mekp or methelethelketonperoxide. It is the peroxide that mixes with a cemical in the polyester resin that raises the temperature of the resin to harden it. The more mekp you add the faster it will kick off. Do not add too much or you may start a fire. The slower the kick off time the stronger the polyester resin will last and not crack. You can clean yourself with acetone. Cleaning tools doesn't normally work very well so use disposable tools. Be extremely careful with acetone. The flashpoint is very low and a static spark will make it go up in your face just by pouring it. If you are pouring from one metal container to another ground the container to elimainate static electricity. My uncle burned his upper body badly one day during a hot dry summer day because of this. I only keep about a pint around because of the volitility of acetone. I hope this helps!
