inhaling aluminum foil?

if u cook with aluminum foil and u breath the air by it is it bad for you? Does the aluminum foil actually go into your lungs? because the foil does not melt it just turns brownish.

Hi: Never heard of anyone having this kind of complaint; so..... I?d have to say that it?s not dangerous to inhale the vapors. Good Luck!!!
Are you talking about when you barbecue? Aluminum oxide is the gaseous compound that is released when you use aluminum foil to cook with. When used on a regular basis it will cause problems with memory but not necessarily with the lungs unless you get a large cloud of grease and fire along with it. The same goes for aluminum pots and pans. The more you use them for cooking the greater the chance of memory loss. Several tests have been done, one of which was performed by the medical college in my home town of Milwaukee, WI. They studied nursing home patients in which the facilities used aluminum cookware. Then had then switch to all stainless steel and retested the patients. They had a greater than 65% improvement in the alzheimer symptoms and found that perhaps are many as 20% of them were misdiagnosised with alzheimers instead of aluminum toxicity.
