Is it safe around horses? Does it help with fly control? Does it break down horse manure?
I would not I know they are both citrus but lime is more exotic a very different flavour. the lemon juice is mainly to help the help contain there bright colour and well as counter balance the sugar I would omit the lemon juice just leave it out all together and reduce the sugar by a few table spoons
It will taste a tiny bit different but it should be fine. (I mean, I'm assuming you need less flavor and more tartness.)
Lime juice is just a little more tart that lemon so it will change the taste slightly but may not even be noticeable. It will not however change the texture or anything else. Happy baking!
