Is becoming philosophical like being hoist upon your own petard?
The term means Injured by the device that you intended to use to injure others. If you use philosophy to try to make yourself seem better, smarter, etc. then yea, I suppose you could injure your own ego in trying to break down other people's. Frankly, I don't know many philosophical people who use philosophy to put others down... although this question comes pretty close.
yep its a lot like that if it comes out naturally why try and keep it in no matter the smell or were you looking to say philosophers are suicide bombers
