no cement is very bad to inhale and so is most everything . when demolishing a home. a simple face mask is best to put on or use a tee-shirt over the nose and mouth will do. good luck

He should be ok. My fiance' works at a cement making factory. Occasionally his nose will bleed for almost 20min. Cement dries out your skin and isn't at all good for you to be breathing in, but so far he's worked there altogether 3-4 yrs and hasn't had any breathing problems. Just dry skin and nose bleeds. His company also does mandatory health checks on the workers as well so that is a relief.
