If metal isnt available then how r Arabs Muslims able to conquer middle east? They had defeated many of the civilizations but how can it be possible without metals? I can only see oil that is represented as there minerals.
Iron ore is found in deserts. They had a rich supply of metals because they lived in an area with many hydrothermal deposits of copper and other metals. They could trade for anything else they need. Most iron was deposited a billion years ago or longer and the current location of desserts doesn't have much significances that long ago.l
