Question:

Is it a good practice to leave an existing window exposed during a new shower install?

A contractor recently informed me that it is okay to leave my existing window uncovered in a new shower installAnother contractor stated that this was risky and the window should be quot;built overquot; due to future water damageI like the idea of still having the natural light in my soon-to-be bathroom, but I don't want the risk of ruining my house foundationHave I been misinformed or is this a possibility? Thanks so much for your answers!

Answer:

very nicely, first you artwork on the area that has no variable26 104/4 104/4-33/4seventy one/4 so seventy one/4 (although you do is decrease than or equivalent to) -2/3f-a million/4 now upload a million/4 to the different area72/4 (See parenthesis above) -2/3f -2/3f is fairly -2/3 x f so divide the two factors via 2/3 72/4 divided via 2/372/4x3/2 f216/8, which reduces to 27/a million f27
I'm assuming the window is in the shower areaIt's fine as long as it's aluminum or vinylWood may be a problemMake sure the tile installers go around/up to the windowIf they know what they're doing it should be fineWe do them all the time that way.
