Just bought my FIRST stove, I've been told by MANY to cover the burner plates (Not sure what it is called really sorryBut the part under the burners on a stove, if that helped any lol) with foil paperAs others have said to NOT cover them as it can mess with the cooking time and the burners alsoSo do you cover them, or do you not? Thank u all who take time out of their lives to replies to thisAloha.
What you are asking about are drip pansAnd no, do not cover them if it is an electric stoveDoing so will cause your burner to short out over timeIf you look in your owners manual, I'm sure it will tell you specifically not to do itYou also shouldn't put any aluminum foil under the the element in the oven for the same reasonThe cost to replace them are fairly cheap with the 6 about $1.50 and the 8 is about $2.50You can also get them now in black if you wish.
You are suggesting that people build a house in the middle of a forest fire? A prerequisite of building a space elevator is the 100% REMOVAL of all the satellites and space junk circling the Earth up to GSOThis is the easiest argument against the EVER creation of a space elevatorBenefits of a Space Elevator? Seriously? Pretty much FREE trips into space.
