it can't be illegal. you wash your underpants there, and most likely, some sort of fecal matter or sweat made it's way on the underpants (that's why you wash) so if it were illegal for people to wash dirty linen covered in junk, it would be illegal for you to wash your underpants. there's also the option of getting a private washing machine so you don't have to smell the laundry of the public
1st FYI: A Pflueger combo might be fine, but, typically, the rod is where they gouge you. What do I mean? The rod on the Pflueger combo will either be a second or of low quality. Or it will be too short (only coming in the 6' 6 size or less) OR only come in medium to medium lite action. DON'T spend your money unwisely!Get a 7FT medium heavy action rod. Why??? Medium heavy is the best action for Soft Plastic's/Jig fishing- both staples in Bass fishing. If you purchase a short noodle rod (equaling medium/medium lite) the only presentation you'll be able to use it for is Crankbait fishing. (Yes, you may be able to snatch a gob of 2 - 2 1/2 LBers with a medium action rod, but, what happens when/if you want to land something 2 times that size? 3 times that size? 6LB PLUS fish require heavier tackle- esp in weedy conditions.
