Question:

Is it okay to use regular aluminium/tin foil for bleaching hair?

I bought a home hair bleaching kit where I want to lighten my hair, I know that using foils gives a nicer look when lightening or colouring hair, but I was wondering if you can use just regular home cooking foil for this? I didn't know if some sort of chemical reaction would alter the results, or if it is just unrecommended?Any comments will be appreciated, thank you :)

Answer:

Just use aluminum foil to cover and freeze themJust remember that it is going to take a lot longer to cook those from a frozen stateYou may want to leave out on the counter over night or pull a few days in advance in the fridge.
I don't think it would react differently, but it is much harder to work with, because it is thicker, and heavierI do really like using foils though, so I would suggest it, packages of foils are sold at beauty supply stores, and they don't cost much
