Answer:

if you mean the wiper hits the top chrome on the windshield then maybe you need shorter wiper blades.
It is possible. Sounds like you are a rookie. in this case I would recommend you to hire a professional, especially if you are planning to sell your house in the future, because kitchen and bathroom is the first thing buyers are looking at
I am guessing you mean a polyurethane coating and the answer depends on what the cabinets are made of. If they are unpainted wood, you will need to clean all the grease off of them, sand them lightly , wipe with a tack cloth and double or triple coat them with a good polyurethane, You will need to sand with 220 grit paper between coats and of course wipe with a tack cloth. Some people remove the hardware too so as not to get finish all over it. If they are laminated with a plastic laminate, you cannot put poly on them. If they are painted metal, just clean and repaint. There are basically two types of poly. Water-based and solvent based. They are both good nut the solvent based is tougher . It is also fussier to put on and you need good ventilation to use it. Water based is easier but people have a tendency to over coat it and get drips. When you go buy the stuff , ask.
