Question:

is lime a good product to spread in your yard to get rid of fleas?

i have a excessive amount of fleas in my yard and want to get rid of them, is lime a good product to put out in the yard for control?

Answer:

As far as I know it hasn't quit. I haven't seen any twelve-pack cans for a while but the grocery stores in my area still have it in bottles.
You know, i was just thinking the same thing, no wonder my long island tea dont taste the same... I forgot about the coke with lime! Thanks...
I asked the Coke rep in the store one day as I only saw it at that store sometimes and he told me they WERE GOING TO STOP MAKING IT! He said they have already stopped making it in the liter bottles and as far as he knew they would stop making the cans as well. I told him if they were going to create such addictions, they should have the responibility to continue the supply! It was very sad news for me as well.
Lime In The Coke
I saw it just yesterday in my local grocery store so it's still available. March up to the Customer Service counter at your local grocery store and tell them you'd like to see the product returned to the shelves. They'll probably ask you to fill out a request form. Until it re-appears on their shelves, get some Rose's Lime Juice (over in the aisle that has cocktail ingredients) and add a splash to your regular Coca-Cola drink. You may find that you prefer it. If there is a beverage store in your area (you know, a place that sells beer and soda in large cases--very popular store during football weather!) check to see if they carry it. If not, request that they do, too. Be a pain about it!! Last time I was in Mexico (1964---yeah, I'm old!) we were served Pepsi and Coca-Cola with wedges of fresh lime and I got hooked on using the fresh lime juice. Another little guilty pleasure from my past...LOL. Hope this helps! CHEERS!
