I found some what I think may be meteorites, but while doing some internet inspection, I found some rocks that kinda resemble what I had found. My question is are these magnetic, the stones that I found are and do resemble meteorites that I have seen on the net. Please give me any info you can.
silica: no Iron slag: usually iron ore: depends magnetite is, and some times of hematite are, most others are not. what you found is some sort of slag, maybe iron, but it could be a waste product of something else that was smelted as well
