Is plastic or alumium container more harmful to store food in if it does get to the food while heating.
plastic is more harmful when heated, they release dexoxin which is cancer causing. If you use them in micro ovens, its harmfull. Aluminum is much safer to cook in. It can with stand high temperatures.
I have read that some plastics have estrogen in them. Causing an excess in either sex can cause serious problem, men especially. Autopsy's of people who had Alzheimer's show aluminum in their brains. Life is definitely a challenge.
i heard plastic is more harmful i read in this article that a chemical found in plastic water bottle was found in this persons blood sample. But it was a small amount where it didnt cause any reactions . when cooking dont use aluminum to cover anything that has tomatoes they cause a bad reaction thats all i know i hope this helps
Neither is great, but aluminum is worse (especally when heated). Also you can't put aluminum in the microwave since it sparks (technically it should not be used for cooking), but plastic leaches stuff info food, especially if it's via ceranwrap on top (in a microwave). Storing things in platic tupperware in the fridge is fine since the temperatures are cold enough that no reactions can happen, but for cooking and eating, ceramic is preferable. Aluminum on the other hand should just be avoided (for baking pyrex glass/ceramic is better). Out of all the forms of aluminum, aluminum foil is the most likely to leech stuff. Hope that helps!
Both are toxic, try to use ceramic or glass.
