Don't listen to answers that tell you to stick to the typical wedding colors. You have picked unique colors! Congrats on your engagement and upcoming wedding! I am getting married next year as well! (January 1, 2011) and in my wedding planning, I looked at a lot photos of other girls' weddings and they are kinda blah. It seems everyone has themes/ bridesmaids in a strapless satin gowns in pastels- pink, peach, lavender, baby blue. You can't tell these weddings apart and they are not memorable. On the color wheel, purple and green compliment each other. If you want eggplant and green, you can definitely find a way to make it look sophisticated.
