Question:

Is scrapping out old TVs for copper worth the effort?

I've probably disassembled 10 TVsI find then on craigs list for freeI noticed that there is a fair amount of copper in them i.etransformer, around the picture tube ectPlus there is aluminum and other metalsBut i'v also noticed that the insulated wires inside the TV are silver in color and if you scrape them you see a copper colorI've also noticed that some of the copper has a red or different color coating on themSo basically I've got these questions.1Will scrap yards by coated copper (I'm not talking about wire insulation)2What other metals in a TV are worth scrapping and how do I tell the difference.3Will scrap yard buy silver colored wires in a TV?

Answer:

We give our son the yogurt that can be sipped through a sippie cupWe add this to his milk sometimes so that it's banana flavored and so that he's getting the yogurt in his dietHe LOVES it! It's like a treat for him! They have banana and peach flavored (that i know of).
I like mixing fruit with yogurt, and making a fruit saladStrawberries, raspberries etcIt's good! As far as recipes, like actual foodA lot of Greek foods call for yogurt, but that isn't the yogurt you may be thinking of,like with fruit etc.
I was going to say popsicles, but someone else beat me to the punchWe buy the Horizon Organic yogurt tubes and freeze themShe thinks they're the same as ice cream popsiclesOther than that, I second the people who suggested using it to dip thingsMuch easier than a spoon.
Why don't you want to give him smoothies everyday? I give my kids smoothies everyday, and they love themI know you said no smoothie recipes, but it is so easy to plop a couple frozen strawberries, some yogurt, a banana, and apple juice into the Magic Bullet.blend and serveIt's part of my kids breakfast almost every morningI feel so dumb sending you what you didn't want, but I can't help it, lol.
