Question:

Is the AMD bulldozer interface the same as dual core 250?

Is the AMD bulldozer interface the same as dual core 250?

Answer:

Bulldozer is the interface type, FM1Dual core 250 is AM2
The two interfaces must be different. The AMD bulldozer uses the latest FM1 interfaceAmd dual core 250 uses the AM3 interface
The 250 is the AM3 interface CPU, 938 pin AM3+ interface; the bulldozer is using the latest support, a lot of new features, pin number is 940; but the hole design of the motherboard's AMD interface is not completely with the CPU pin, in simple terms, the motherboard interface hole to more than CPU pins, this is for the future upgrade platform reserved, just holes reserved AM3 interface board slot can be put into the AM3+ pin of the bulldozer, so the theory is part of the high-end motherboard such as the 890 series and 870 series can brush BIOS support AM3+ interface pin of the bulldozer, but the model does less than ~ of course AM3+ slot backwards compatible with AM3 CPU that's for sure. The hole on the basis of AM3 also increased the APU Llano interface of a few upstairs said ~ the FM1 that is K10.5+HD5000 GPU and the real bulldozer kernel APU has not come out, but even if Next year came out, basically will not continue ~!
