Question:

Is the car knife above the center of the workpiece changing the front and back angles

When the outside circle is outside, is the car knife higher than the center of the workpiece changing the front Angle and the rear Angle

Answer:

When the knife is in the outer circle of the car, if the tip of the blade is mounted higher than the center of the workpiece, the Angle of the front becomes larger and the rear Angle becomes smaller because of the change of the coordinate plane.
In contrast, if the tip of the blade is lower than the center of the workpiece, it is also caused by the change of the coordinate plane, which decreases the forehorn and increases the rear Angle.
When a lathe is above the center of the workpiece the tool's main Angle and the rear Angle of the knife change little, but the rear Angle becomes smaller.
