I visited Barcelona for the first time last summer and it is by far THE best city EVER!! I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointedThe atmosphere and buzz is fantastic, day and nightThere are hundreds of interesting sights and art all over the placeI would really recommend the bus tour as your ticket will be valid for 2 days and you get on and off as you pleasethe place is so big that this is the best way to see the place without totally wearing your feet outYou have the amazing Gaudi buildings and art galleries plus the beach all in one placeIt's fantastic and I can not wait to go backWe were walking around at 2am in the morning and did not feel at all threatened - everyone is out and about enjoying the cityThe flight in your tin tube will be worth it! Have a great trip!
