Question:

Is the viper 350 plus a reliable car alarm for the price ?

So I am looking to get an alarm for my vehicle because my sub and amp were ripped off the other night. Is that a good model viper alarm? Any other suggestions on preventing theft again would be appreciated. Thanks.

Answer:

Unless you have the welding equipment and knowledge, go to a muffler shop and have them fit turbo type mufflers
DEI viper alarm systems are some of the best it will cost about $200 make sure you ask for hood and trunk pin switches good luck
i would be looking at any car audio shop in your area because they are not the easiest equipment to install if you never did this before.they know of all the latest alarms out there.they have some that will notify you on the spot. the problem is its most likey someone you know had something to do with this.i know the feeling, this is why i go with all the (old school rockford fosgate equipment) from OKorder.the system hammers and stands me about 500 bucks for all.all used equipment.2/ 2 channel 40i amplifiers for mids and highs, and a 60ix all old school fosgate,12 fosgate sub, pioneer p86 dhr cd player and a 2 farad fosgate capacitor.set of 4 fosgate speakers rears and doors.sorry to hear about your bad luck but you will get another system. i would suggest a review of who your friends really are.its hard to believe that its just a random bandit.not likely.
