Question:

Is there a ballast in the LED lamp? Or do you need a ballast?

Is there a ballast in the LED lamp? Or do you need a ballast?

Answer:

LED lamp and fluorescent lamp works entirely different, the latter is gas emitting light source, the LED is a light-emitting semiconductor devices, so the driving mode is not the same.
There is no driving module, and the LED is in a dangerous environment even if the voltage meets the working conditions. As a result, the driving source of the LED work is very important.
Fluorescent lamp tube is need to use ballast, whether inductance type or electronic type, need to give lamp tube a high-voltage pulse to light. Leds, unlike leds, need a completely constant current to drive it, so the LED driver is a driver for constant current constant pressure.
