We are researching buying one, an in one vacuum cleaner rather than having two vacuum cleaners. Is there a wood stove vacuum cleaner, and central vacuum cleaner multipurpose unit all in one unit ? Currently we already have an old central vacuum cleaner in the house and would rather buy a new central vacuum cleaner and a separate wood stove vacuum cleaner, hoping if anyone knows of a company and name of a vacuum unit that makes an all in one vacuum cleaner for both purposes ? nobody would make a vacuum cleane rthat might suck up hot embers. a central vac is just that. use a shopvac with water in the bottom for your wood stove and remove the filter so it doesn't get cooked, or a bucket and shovel. sorry!
II wouldn't invest in a central unit because if you suck up wood ashes with a vacuum the house is going to burn down and the new central vac will go with it. Shovel out the ashes to a securely covered galvanized trash can. The can should be outside away from the house. Didn't your mama ever tell you not to play with fire? My brother made a good living off of people such as you, he was a fireman.
