is there a putty you use for automotive to stop leaks like this?

changed the waterpump last night, and i found that the water pump is defective and leaks trough a seam in the casting, poor molding i guessso is there some putty stuff for automotive metals i think water pumps are aluminumto put over the leak, its a small leak btw, that will resist engine tempatures and -40 wheathersome putty stuff? names? thanks

why go to all that trouble? Just toss a little garlic powder and seasoned salt on, then grill, pan fry or whateverYou don't need a lot of stuff to make it tasty.
