Is there an additive i can mix with jp8 to safely run diesel equiptment?

Answer:

like a kabillion automatics do thatshame really, what happened to the manuals? nothings wrong, but there's a trick to get it offdont know exactly though
you keep wanting to do this/so put it in there and when the thing blows dont start crying/the answer is get a refinery and do it yourself/sell the excess
I don't think you need an additive. The Marine Corps Logistics Base in Barstow, CA uses jp8, straight up, in all the vehicles that they repair, refurbish and overhaul. This includes LAV's, AAAV's, HMMUV's, Mark 48's, M-1 Abrams, cranes, forklifts, VTR's, ect. They are equiped with 8V-92 Detroit Diesel engines, VT-903 Cummins engines, 6.3 liter GMC engines, 1500hp turbine engines, Perkins engines, V-1710 engines, and RP-200M Raxman. There has been no fuel issues with running them on jp8. It's sort of like using premium gasoline. If you really think you would have an issue with this, then you should go online with Chevron or Standard Oil or the API (American Petroleum Institute), someone like that where you could gain access to a petroleum engineer.
