A powder of dolomite mixture having shellac , phenoilc resin , hexamine , silicon resin rosin , is there any process to segregate all these parts through chemical process.All parts in powder form ,Can anyone suggest replacement of shellac

denatured ethyl alcohol, which you can buy a a hardware store, alcohol should do the trick I think that only shellac will dissolve. The rest of the powders should not dissolve. What is the shrllac used for in this mixture?
