Does light have particles? Like, are there such thing as 'atoms of light'? As in, the essence of light itself it matter? Or is it just something visible, not really existant in form? Sorry, 8th grade science doesn;t cover all this yet. :S
Light doesn't have atoms, but it does come in discrete packets called photons. A photon is a particle of light, but that doesn't make it matter, because it has no mass.
