I‘m planning to make a an armor for my costume and read in the internet that wonderflex is usually use for this kind of props. Styrene is also use but limited to only a few props. I don‘t really have the money to buy one online since shipping costs are quite expensive since its from the other side of the world. Please help.

Try using shielded cable or a better ground.
