Question:

Isn't it against tradition to hoist the conference championship trophies?

I could be wrong on this, and regardless if I am or not i don't think it will affect their chances; I still have them beating Indy.I remember last year Mike Tomlin refused to even touch the conference trophy. For those superstitious folk out there, what effects, if any do you think having EVERYONE touch the trophy will have on the Saints performance in the Superbowl?

Answer:

Saints fans are a superstitious lot, but I don't think we are worried about the trophy hoist so much as not following our own rituals. We kind of have our own rules when it comes to superstitious stuff. I think this is the first time I've been able to say Saints and Super Bowl in the same sentence. Ever. No jinx this time!
KEEP DREAMING colts will beat the aints
I dont think it will have any. There have been other teams that have touched the trophy. I am from new england and they held there conference trophies when they won their superbowls.
I think that's only in hockey and actually Sid the Kid broke that tradition last year.
