Ok.. so I was walking in the rain last night with my sister and we were talking about the Navy.. I'm trying to get her to enlist too, but she gets freaked out about the littlest things.. Her new reason for not wanting to join for this week is I don't want to go to the Navy because when it's lightning outside and you're on a Naval ship in the middle of the ocean: the ship could get struck and you're basically screwed. I thought it was funny because she said it so seriously but.. what would really happen if that did happen? You'd be stuck out in the ocean with a bunch of man eating sharks on a damaged ship.. wouldn't the ship go down or something? and no.. she's not a p*ss lol.. she just thinks too much.
Anyone can file a lawsuit, if they so desire. However, you won't gain anything by doing so. Since none of the issues you mention are illegal, there is no court which will force your apartment complex to install speed bumps, etc. Since you have suffered no financial loss, you have no basis for suit there either.
Avoid going to work when you have pink-eye! Hopefully you've had a diagnosis and meds. Stay home! Wash your hands frequently. Use goggles at work. Don't share them. Don't use makeup on your eyes. If you have buy fresh and wait until your infection's gone. Oh, and did I mention, stay home? It's very contagious. It went around my house after someone brought it home from work. Not pleasant being the one putting drops in everyone's eyes for them. :(
Why don't you wear safety goggles? The best way to avoid dirt and debris in your eyes is to use the equipment designed to protect you while you work. Also, if you have pink eye, you should see a doctor, get medicine, and follow professional advice.
