I'd start with something light, like wire or balsa wood to make a skeletonThen cover that with a some film, either wax paper or plastic wrapI'd avoid aluminum foil, it gets too many wrinklesIf you use something heavier like a trash bag, you can pour in plaster or sand to help flesh it out so it won't seem to cling to the skeletonThen spray-paint the whole thing bronze, and voila, a miniature Colossus of Rhodes.
