Yes, your overreacting. A fire from a fan is virtually impossible, getting hair stuck is possible if you have long hair, but even then is quite unlikely, and ALL fans have protection against fingers, or unless they would be selling something dangerous, which their not. Unless the fan is right next to this head, like right on top of his head, I wouldn't worry about it. A good solution would to get a stool or chair and put it on that, and have that right next to his bed.
i doubt it wil cause a fire. But if he has asthma dont put it directly towars him. If he keeps moving it . i suggest you take away his fan . telll him the fan was a privilege, But hes takin advantage of it and tell him does he realize how unsafe having a fan directly hitting him
yes, if its your house that will burn down then hell yeah you have every right to be mad. take the fan and hide it!
Take charge - he's 14, or then again, butt out. Not sure why you seem to be the one really warped out about this if he has parents.
