I have a Acer Aspire 3000 labtop. Everytime I remove my battery pack, the mouse, keyboard, USB port, etc. works without freezing (like factory setting). Whenever the battery pack is put back in, the mouse, keyboard, USB port, etc. freezes up and I cant shut down the computer or work the touch pad. I did a full factory recovery on it, put the battery pack in, and it STILL freezes up. Theres nothing wrong with the computer its self, its just the battery pack. Whats wrong with my battery pack? Why is my computer rejecting it?
its a LAPTOP! If the battery is still under warranty, try contacting the company of your LAPTOP and have them replace the battery or come and repair the LAPTOP. LAPTOP LAP-TOP LAPPPPPPTOP!
Try replacing the battery. It may be causing a short. Good Luck!
It could be that possibly the battery was mishandled during shipping. Call the company that manufactured your laptop to send you a new one.
The problem is with your laptop. There is a hardware or problem in the laptop that interferes with perifials when the battery is connected. This doesnt mean that something isnt wrong with the battery also, but the battery does not interact with any components directly other than the notebook itself. Typically batteries either will work perfectly or not at all. They dont really interact on a software level that would interfere with performance directly. I would get all your important files off the computer and send the whole thing back for a new one.
