Actually, it doesn't say anything about being sunglasses. It calls for an anti reflection coating which will help with night driving. You also have 0.50 astigmatism correction which could be part of why glare is so bad at nights. A 0.50 astigmatism correction can't be dismissed as being almost nothing. It makes a fair difference. I think you will notice that they will help for night driving, and even for TV. If you were taken , it has to do with the pricenot because they won't help you see better. Anyone who tells you that if you can pass the DMV test, then you don't need glasses to drive, is very uninformed.
