What are the pros and cons of leaving your computer on all the time? I've heard that it's good to leave it on all the time but then i also hear it's bad to do that.
Many studies have been done on this issueThat is why modern computers have a hibernation settingHibernation settings allow your hard-drive to sleep (Half Spin) and wake for updates when the computer is not in useTurning the computer off will stop all moving partsYour hard-drive is a multilevel aluminium disk that spins on a diamond pointSome say.that if the disk keeps spinning it will last forever because a diamond point will not fade Others say.if you turn off the computer it causes a slight wabble when the hard-drive stops and restarts and that reaction will dull the diamond tipSo it's hard to say, however I keep mine running all the time and I'm still surfing :) Cheers
Definitely leave the mare in the stall if the owner said to not let her get rained on; however, 90 degrees is hotI would suggest hosing her down with cold water, and checking up on her often while she is resting in the stallGood luck, and don't worry too much.
