Question:

Leaving in 3 days for a small vacation, waxing question!?

Well on Thursday(3 days away) I am going to be going out of town for the weekendAnd I will probably go swimming, so I need to waxI have waxed twice before;once in a salon and once at homeI am doing the wax kit at home(Please, do not talk me out of it)Well I need to wax my legs, bikini area, and under armsI will probably wax on Thursday before I goSince I have to work the next 2 days, and I don't want to wax before I go to workHow long should I wait to put on deodorant after I wax my underarms? How long should I wait to wax after I shower?

Answer:

tea, coffee, eggs, jelly/jam, vegetable oil, and a good stash of canned goods including tomato sauce
season salt eggs bread cornbread mix
well you can use meats.like lunch meats and you can have chips and stuff incase an unexpected guest pops over.cheese.OH! and any of those like microwavable foods for those nights you just want an easy meal and you can get some of those simple jello mixes and canned foods and if you have kids juice boxes and like gummi snacks
it depends on deodorant, if you have natural mineral antiperspirant for sensitive skin (whithout aluminium) then you can use it just couple of hours after waxing (I do it and its fine), but if you have one of those with aluminium chloride or other chemicals, you must wait at least 8 or 12 hours to avoid painful irritation and skin rushI usualy wax my legs and bikini after long and hot bathI don't wait at all but simply dry the skin after bath (or shower) and waxThe reason is, hot water open skin pores, softens the skin and hair come out easier so the whole process is much less painfulAfter waxing use baby oil, sweet almond oil, olive oil or aloe oil to soothe the skinall lotions have chemicals in and it can irritate the skin, natural oils are much better (even ordinary cooking oil is better then lotion for after waxing skin) I recommend usin safflower oil after waxingDo not massage it in but leave it to dry on the skinThis oil weakens hair roots and makes hair grow slower and much weakerThe only thing is, for it to work you need to use it every day after waxing till the next waxing ( so basically daily)btwif I were you, I would wax at least 24 hours before the holidays (and swimming.)The skin can be irritated after waxing, with some red dots, and it needs time to soothe before being exposed to sun and pool water.
