Lime jello salad with out cottage cheese?
Well, the way I would do it would be to segment it, like a grapefruit. How you do this is by first cutting off both ends of the lime or lemon. Then, lay it on the cutting board cut side down (the flat side you just cut). Then, with your knife, slice the green skin and white pith off, leaving only the lime. Once this is completed for all sides, you can go over it to remove as much skin and pith as possible. Then, with your knife, slice in to where the natural segments are on both sides, and they should slide right out. If you want the skin and not the lime, you can do a variety of things. You can zest it using a microplane or a zester or you can peel it using a peeler that you might normally use for peeling things such as potatoes. Well, good luck! :)
