well cant use lime wire anymor because its not working for mee. any 1 knoe something else besides lime wire
Store bought cakes and pies or food in general never tastes as good as home mead LOL Probably got a ton of additives, coloring and preservatives to! Key limes are not regular limes they are small yellowish and come from the Florida keys. They have a different bitter like taste but good for pie! 8 ounces cream cheese - softened (you may also use the reduced fat variety) 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1/3 cup fresh squeezed key lime juice (8-10 fresh squeezed key limes) 1 prepared graham cracker crust (8 inch) Container: 8-inch pie plate or tin, medium mixing bowl Cut and squeeze 8-10 key limes to obtain 1/3 to 1/2 cup of juice. In a medium bowl, mix together the juice, softened cream cheese, and sweetened condensed milk until blended and smooth. Pour the mixture into the prepared crust. Cover the pie and refrigerate until set, about 2 to 4 hours. When serving, garnish the pie with a small, thin slice of fresh key lime or a dollop of whipped cream on each piece.
It's entirely your imagination that it's horrible
Hi, I think it just didn't match your 'ideal' key lime pie. Most of them are yellowish, as is most lime juice, including the Key/Quay Lime. The green ones are artificially colored—do you really need that? If you asked a champion pastry-maker to make a green-colored one, he/she might just flip you off. The pie should be sweet, but it should also be quite 'tangy' or sour, as well. Some recipes have no added sugar apart from the sweet, graham cracker crust and some sweetened condensed milk. Other recipes have sugar in the filling, which could be pretty gross! Best!
